  Sam Renshaw - Director of Auxiliary & Summer Programs

  Sam directed his first summer camp in New England in 2007 and brings vast experience running youth programming across three continents. As the Director of Auxiliary Programs at Fay School, Sam oversees Extended Fay (AM and PM Care, after-school enrichment clubs, and vacation programs) throughout the academic year as well as all campus rentals. He is dedicated to ensuring that FaySummer is a fun, enriching, and memorable experience for every camper.

  Lauren Dayotas - Camp Director

  Lauren is excited to return to FaySummer for her fifteenth season! She treasures the opportunity to see returning campers each year and watch them grow and thrive through the program. During the school year, Lauren brings her passion for education to the Northborough/Southborough Public Schools. She holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from American International College and a Master’s in Special Education from Assumption University. Her dedication and enthusiasm make her an invaluable leader of the FaySummer team.

  Taylor Macpherson – Assistant Camp Director

  This is Taylor’s thirteenth summer at FaySummer. During the school year, she is a Kindergarten Teacher in Fay’s Primary School and previously served as a teacher at Fay’s Early Learning Center. Taylor also serves as a Duty Administrator for the School’s boarding community and coaches the girls' 5/6 basketball team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Northeastern University. Taylor loves that FaySummer offers something unique for every child at every level.

  Dan Blanchard - Outdoor Adventures Leader

  This year marks Dan’s seventeenth season at FaySummer! A member of the Fay School faculty since 2006, Dan teaches during the school year and serves as the head coach for the varsity track and field team and the varsity B boys' soccer team. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Providence College. Dan’s long-standing commitment to the Fay community ensures a high-quality experience for every Outdoor Adventure participant.

  Faith Macpherson – Discoverers Unit Leader

  Faith is excited to return for her fifth summer at FaySummer, stepping into the role of Discoverers Unit Leader. In previous summers, she has served as both a Discoverers Counselor and a Dorm Parent, experiences that strengthened her connection to the camp community. Faith studied Liberal Arts at Westfield State and works as a teacher’s aide in Fay's Early Learning Center during the school year. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where campers feel encouraged to try new things.

  Lex Thibodeau - Explorers Unit Leader

  Lex joined FaySummer in 2021 and is excited to return this year as the Unit Leader for the Explorers. During the school year, Lex works at Fay's Early Learning Center as an assistant teacher and also works within the Extended Fay after-school program. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Lex’s favorite part of camp is watching campers find their voice and confidence as they explore new activities.

  Lexi Hahn - Trailblazers, Navigators, and Spotlight Camp Unit Leader

  This is Lexi’s fourth year at FaySummer, and she is thrilled to be back. Last summer, Lexi ran the Science and Nature program, where she introduced the same skills and topics she teaches in her science classroom within the Wachusett School District. She has also led Sports and Games for the Trailblazer, Navigator, and Specialty campers. Lexi’s favorite part of FaySummer is watching campers challenge themselves and build lasting friendships.

  Kelsey O’Hare – Specialty Camp Unit Leader

  Kelsey is thrilled to return to FaySummer for her fourteenth summer. She has held many roles at Fay, including Music and Movement Specialist, Counselor, Dorm Parent, and Afternoon Care Coordinator. Kelsey holds a Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University and works as an elementary school music teacher in Beverly during the academic year. She looks forward to FaySummer every year for the joy and memories it brings to the children.
